Huntsville, US · Full-time · $130,000 – $170,000
About this role
Turbomachinery Engineers perform design and analysis with insight and oversight of work by others. They apply analyses to pre-test predictions of component performance and assess ground test or flight data. This role ensures turbomachinery meets design requirements through data characterization.
Daily responsibilities include supporting all steps of turbomachinery design, development, integration, analysis, test, and problem resolution. Engineers develop new design concepts, implement improvements, and support bearing lab testing and data analysis. They create scripts for automated testing and collaborate to resolve technical issues.
Team members attend technical interchanges, project planning, design reviews, and meetings to maintain knowledge of design, requirements, issues, and resolutions. They identify issues, pursue resolutions, provide supporting analyses, and complete action items while reviewing requirements and implementing risk management.
Your growth matters with professional development like Team Lead Academy, education reimbursement, mentoring, and networking events. The workplace promotes inclusion, diversity, and respect. Benefits support well-being with wellness programs, 11 paid holidays, parental leave, paid time off, flexible schedules, and possible remote days.
