We are seeking a skilled and driven Rocket Engine Design Engineer to join our headquarters in Bremen. This role is key to our expansion in revolutionizing space transportation and hypersonics.
You will design and analyze conventional and linear aerospike rocket propulsion systems. Responsibilities include design and analysis of liquid rocket engine components such as injector, combustion chamber, nozzle, and igniter. Perform thermodynamic, fluid dynamic, and thermos-structural analysis using tools like CEA, Ansys Mechanical & Fluent, MATLAB, or Ecosimpro.
Engage in material selection, component sizing, and optimization of engine performance and efficiency. Collaborate closely with test and DAQ engineers to define test plans and analyze test data. Join our passionate team dedicated to pushing boundaries and fostering innovation.

Requirements
- Successfully completed aerospace engineering degree (M.Sc./M.Eng.)
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and combustion
- Working experience in the field of rocket propulsion
- Experience with rocket propulsion system analysis tools (e.g. CEA, Ecosimpro, Ansys)
- Proficient with CAD (Inventor/Creo)
- Programming skills (e.g. Python, Matlab)
- Experience with CFD (Ansys Fluent) is an advantage
- Proficiency in both German and English
Responsibilities
