The Bench Mechanic Team Lead directs day-to-day work on other Bench Mechanics supporting MRO Operations, specifically Tubes, SS Fin and Military product lines. The role performs on-site maintenance, inspections and repairs while managing material readiness and inventory of aviation parts and tooling.
Team members read and interpret Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs and Structural Repair Manuals. They retain all on-site records in hard copy and electronic form and continuously update the electronic maintenance tracking system for efficient planning and time-limit tracking.

Requirements
- High School education or equivalent
- 5 or more years mechanical experience, aerospace manufacturing preferred
- 5 or more years of prior leadership experience preferred
- Ability to work 1st shift hours typically 6:30am to 3pm with overtime and weekends as needed
- Ability to accomplish duties with little or no assistance after training
- Working knowledge of industrial math calculations and ability to work to tight tolerances
- Ability to stand for 8 hours or more and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to pass pre-hire and ongoing random drug testing and background check
Responsibilities
- Support MRO Operations, specifically Tubes, SS Fin and Military product lines
- Perform on-site maintenance, inspections and repairs
- Retain and maintain all on-site records in both hard copy and electronic form
- Update and utilize an electronic maintenance tracking mechanism for planning and time-limit tracking
- Adhere to company policies including all safety compliances
- Manage material readiness, inventory and accountability of aviation parts and tooling
- Read and understand Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Catalogs and Structural Repair Manuals
