About this role

Teledyne CML Composites in Bromborough is seeking eager and committed team members to join our manufacturing teams as Composite Laminators. With an orderbook extending into the next decade, this is an opportunity to play a crucial role in producing composite parts for the aerospace industry.

In this role, you will learn and apply processing techniques including the correct lay-up of pre-impregnated glass and carbon into mould tools, vacuum bagging, and resin infusion. You will follow complex technical drawings and specifications with precision, ensuring every product meets the highest quality standards.

You will work in a cleanroom environment alongside a collaborative team, contributing to a positive and productive atmosphere. The facility houses advanced machining technology including multi-axis NDT robotic machines, automated material cutting machines, and multi-axis CNC machining centres.

Full training is provided for all aspects of the role, from material handling to quality assurance. This position offers the chance to develop expertise in advanced composite manufacturing while supporting some of the world's leading aircraft and aero engine producers.

Ability to learn and understand composite processing techniques and materials

Responsibilities

Learn and understand processing techniques and materials used in composite lamination
Perform lay-up of pre-impregnated glass and carbon fibre into mould tools
Execute vacuum bagging and resin infusion techniques
Follow complex technical drawings and specifications accurately
Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and upkeep of own work area and wider cleanroom environment
Comply with all Health & Safety measures within the cleanroom and the wider organisation
Identify and resolve production issues proactively to support smooth manufacturing processes
