About this role
The Electro Optical Infrared Systems (EOIS) line of business develops, manufactures, and supports infrared and electro-optical solutions for soldiers, ground vehicles, and airborne platforms. Locations include Melbourne, FL. Senior Manufacturing Engineers perform moderately complex functions in process design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation of production operations.
Develop manufacturing process plans, test requirements, manufacturing flow, and capacity plans. Review detail designs for manufacturability and producibility. Prepare complicated plans, conduct support studies, provide analysis or tests in production operations development.
Responsibilities are diverse in scope where analysis of situations or data requires sound judgment. General guidance given on new assignments as needed. Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in an applicable engineering field with 5+ years applicable engineering experience or equivalent
- Specialties in manufacturing, production, industrial, welding, tooling, testing, processing, software, and robotics
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Active DoD security clearance or ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time
- Experience in process design and fabrication for production operations
- Ability to provide guidance to lower level engineers

- Analyze situations or data requiring sound judgment
- Support, communicate, reinforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization
