About this role

At ACE Thermal Systems, the Logistics Manager oversees all shipping, receiving, work order kitting, and inventory transactions for high-performance environmental control systems used in extreme aerospace conditions.

The role requires managing warehouse operations to deliver accurate material pulls, kit staging, and inventory transactions that keep production schedules on track and meet customer delivery requirements.

You will coordinate daily with Planning, Production, Quality, and Shipping teams while maintaining company culture through real-time coaching, cross-training staff, and preparing metrics for morning huddles in an on-site environment.

This position provides the chance to reduce costs, improve fulfillment processes, and support mission-critical aerospace products within a collaborative manufacturing setting focused on professional growth.

Requirements

  • Experience leading warehouse teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of work order kitting, inventory transactions, and traceability requirements
  • Ability to manage budgets and implement cost reduction initiatives
  • Proficiency in coordinating cross-functional teams across Planning, Production, and Quality
  • Experience developing cycle count schedules and ensuring inventory accuracy
  • Understanding of quality and safety procedures in aerospace manufacturing settings

Responsibilities

  • Lead warehouse and logistics teams to complete kits within expected time frames without error
  • Oversee receipt of parts and material to ensure proper count, identification, traceability, and cycle counts
  • Manage budget to reduce costs while supporting operational needs
  • Mentor and cross-train staff to maximize potential and meet shifting demands in shipping and order pulling
  • Oversee end-to-end Work Order fulfillment from planning release through customer shipment
  • Coordinate with Planning to prioritize and execute Work Orders against customer delivery schedules
  • Monitor order flow and inventory availability to address shortages and drive on-time delivery performance
  • Track KPIs including on-time delivery, Work Order completion, and inventory accuracy
