Develop and execute multi-year engineering roadmaps aligned with growth strategies while championing automation, robotics, and smart manufacturing expansion. Lead DFM, process improvements, and cost reductions across EMS and metal fabrication operations. Oversee deployment of advanced equipment like robotic assembly, CNC, laser cutting, and automated material handling.
Build and mentor a high-performing multi-site engineering team fostering continuous improvement and collaboration. Standardize workflows, documentation, and KPI tracking while ensuring safety, quality, and compliance in regulated environments. Partner with operations, supply chain, program management, and sales for cohesive execution.

Requirements
- Strong background in electronics manufacturing services (EMS) and metal fabrication processes
- Demonstrated success in deploying automation, robotics, and advanced manufacturing technologies
- Experience leading enterprise-wide engineering organizations across multiple facilities
- Expertise in design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and new product introduction (NPI) processes
- Knowledge of metalworking technologies such as CNC, laser cutting, and forming
- Proven ability to optimize capacity utilization and tooling strategies
- Familiarity with regulated industries including aerospace and defense
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a multi-year engineering and technology roadmap aligned with company growth strategies
- Champion the expansion of automation, robotics, and smart manufacturing to support scalable operations
- Provide technical due diligence and integration planning for potential M&A activity
- Lead design-for-manufacturing (DFM), process improvement, and cost-reduction initiatives across EMS and metal fabrication
- Oversee the evaluation, selection, and deployment of advanced manufacturing equipment including robotic assembly and CNC
- Build and mentor a high-performing, multi-site engineering team
- Standardize engineering workflows, documentation, and KPI tracking across all sites
- Collaborate with program management and sales to develop innovative technical solutions
