The Aerospace Manufacturing Technician supports production activities through the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal components.

This role includes operating machinery such as press brakes, riveter/dimplers, and resistance welders. You will complete production documentation, assign inventory to work orders, and perform various shop-related activities while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

  • Grade 12 Diploma, or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to generate high quality deliverables.
  • Strong time management and self-motivation.
  • Ability to build collaborative working relationships.
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information.
  • Mindset to work smarter, not harder.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components including deburring, drilling, CNC/cold forming, riveting, dimpling, resistance welding, grinding, sanding, and blasting.
  • Operate machinery in support of production including press brakes, riveter/dimplers, resistance welders, and pneumatic hand tools.
  • Complete documentation, assign inventory, and allocate labour to work orders as required.
  • Perform various production and shop related activities.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Support additional tasks and projects as required.
  • Uphold the high standards that define the Alpine Aerotech brand.
