The Aerospace Manufacturing Technician supports production activities through the fabrication and assembly of sheet metal components.

This role includes operating machinery such as press brakes, riveter/dimplers, and resistance welders. You will complete production documentation, assign inventory to work orders, and perform various shop-related activities while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

Grade 12 Diploma, or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to generate high quality deliverables.
Strong time management and self-motivation.
Ability to build collaborative working relationships.
Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive information.
Mindset to work smarter, not harder.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components including deburring, drilling, CNC/cold forming, riveting, dimpling, resistance welding, grinding, sanding, and blasting.
Operate machinery in support of production including press brakes, riveter/dimplers, resistance welders, and pneumatic hand tools.
Complete documentation, assign inventory, and allocate labour to work orders as required.
Perform various production and shop related activities.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Support additional tasks and projects as required.
Uphold the high standards that define the Alpine Aerotech brand.
