About this role
Spacecraft represent the most pressing unmet need across the aerospace industry. As launch costs decrease and more payload companies emerge, the demand for commercial satellite buses has surged. Apex manufactures these platforms at scale through software, vertical integration, and design-for-manufacturing hardware.
In this role, you will design and develop avionics systems and electrical components for satellite platforms. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate subsystems while maintaining high performance standards. Your work involves creating electrical architectures, PCB designs, and selecting suitable electronic components.
You will work closely with mechanical, systems, and software engineers to coordinate activities and share knowledge. Apex combines software, vertical integration, and hardware designed for manufacturing, enabling rapid development. This collaborative environment ensures your avionics designs fit seamlessly into the satellite bus.
You will stay updated with the latest advancements in avionics and apply innovative solutions to enhance satellite performance. Apex is on a mission to provide humankind access to the galaxy beyond our planet, offering you the chance to shape the future of space. Your contributions will directly impact earth observation, communications, and more.
