Join as an intermediate Stress Engineer for our aerospace partner in Mirabel on a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on site. Support the commercial aircraft program as a specialist in aircraft structure.
Realize or review structural justification analyses for aircraft systems including hydraulic and pneumatic piping, valves, supports, tube flanges, and anchors, as well as primary and secondary structures. Conduct static, FEM, fatigue, and damage tolerance analyses as needed. Ensure thorough verification of structural integrity across components.
Coordinate certain activities with external teams when required. Collaborate closely with other departments within a multidisciplinary team environment. Thrive in a dynamic setting supporting aerospace innovation on the North Shore of Montréal.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the aerospace industry
- Knowledge of primary and secondary aircraft structures (metallic and composites) as well as systems installation
- Excellent understanding of stress analysis basics (metallic and composite)
- Knowledge of stress analysis for systems is an asset
- Good mastery of FEM and FEA principles
- Knowledge of MS Patran/Nastran, HyperWorks, and CATIA V5 is an asset
- Mastery of English (spoken and written); French is an asset
- Dynamic, autonomous individual with strong planning abilities, responsibility, team orientation, and ability to work under pressure
