In this role, ensure compliance with DO-178C DAL A and related standards. Oversee that safety processes are followed by software developers and review safety certification artifacts for compliance with DO-178C objectives and planning documents. This work is analogous to Designated Engineering Representative artifact compliance reviews.
Support internal and external compliance audits while providing guidance and mentoring on DO-178C standards and safety practices. Work collaboratively across multiple geographies with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Maintain meticulous attention to safety and compliance standards.

Requirements
- 15 years of experience focused on safety-critical systems and DO-178C compliance
- Minimum of 7 years VxWorks or other RTOS embedded C/C++ software development
- Well versed in the C programming language
- Deep understanding of DO-178C standards, particularly for DAL A certification
- Knowledge of requirements, software high-level and low-level requirements, verification, testing, peer reviews, structural coverage analysis, and tool qualification
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively across multiple geographies
- Meticulous attention to safety and compliance standards
- US Citizenship required
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with DO-178C DAL A and related standards
