SEGULA TECHNOLOGIES is hiring a Production Engineer to join the growing team in Little Rock. This Engineering and Design Services company has a global presence in 28 countries with 140 offices and 11,000 employees serving Aerospace & Defense. Must be authorized to work in the United States and available to start within 3 weeks of offer.

Assess risks from new tasks or reworks on aircraft progress and define action plans to mitigate them. Coordinate with support teams to establish schedules and manage daily technical action plans for tasks and discrepancies. Monitor critical issues like shortages and technical events to keep the production line moving.

Maintain good team relationships across departments and report main issues to the Business Unit Manager with recommendations. Coordinate to ensure timely delivery of materials, parts, documentation, and engineering data to the aircraft or shop. Utilize support teams including Expediters, Manufacturing Engineers, Inspection, and others to improve production processes.

Identify and propose action plans to enhance processes regarding cost, schedule, and quality. Manage aircraft transfers, projects, and new processes under Business Unit supervision. Join a firm fostering career growth through expertise in major industrial sectors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Aviation Engineering, Business or related field; less education considered with relevant experience (2 years aircraft production liaison equals 1 year college)
  • 5 years of experience in aircraft completions, maintenance and/or components manufacturing
  • Wide knowledge of engineering practices and challenges related to production process management
  • Ability to research, analyze and recommend efficient production processes through work-study, ergonomics, operation research, root cause analysis, manufacturing management
  • Ability to read, understand and communicate technical information in aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings
  • Proven abilities in analytical and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems by determining and following detailed action plans
  • Strong ability in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Project, Access, SharePoint and Visual Basic

  • Utilize support teams such as Expediters, Manufacturing Engineers, Liaisons, Inspection to maintain production
