As a Senior Systems Process Engineer, you'll lead creation, development, streamlining, or elimination of processes to foster an efficient, product-focused culture. Daily activities include finding pain points in existing processes and proposing solutions. You'll proactively collaborate with Software & IT to brainstorm, prototype, implement, and rollout tools enabling better design and test collaboration.

The Systems Engineering team builds tools for requirements management, decision tracking, and risk mitigation, plus ensures Terran R subsystems integrate seamlessly. Engineers work across domains with deep technical knowledge, leading test campaigns, console operations, and improvements in fluids, structures, and avionics. It's a high-visibility department at a pivotal program moment.

Requirements

  • BS in Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of systems engineering experience
  • Successful development and roll-out of department or company-wide processes
  • Proven ability to work with internal IT and Dev Ops teams to create tools
  • At least 1 full life cycle experience, from concept to completion, for process or tool development

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation, development, streamlining, and/or eliminating of Systems Engineering processes across the company
  • Find pain points with existing processes and propose solutions
  • Proactively work with Software & IT department to brainstorm solutions and set priorities
  • Prototype, implement, and rollout processes, tools, and automation for better design and test collaboration
  • Build tools and processes to manage requirements, track decisions, and identify risks
  • Mitigate risks enabling faster, informed development across the program
  • Drive improvements across fluids, structures, avionics, and other domains
