About this role
We're looking for a Systems Engineer (Test Systems) II who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role supports advanced test systems used to validate complex hardware from early development through production and sustainment. You'll contribute across the engineering lifecycle from design to sustainment.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define and develop system solutions. Support system design, integration, testing, and validation activities. Work with models, simulations, prototypes, hardware, software, and test environments.
Identify technical risks and support informed engineering decisions. Help improve system performance, reliability, affordability, and efficiency. Focus intensely on customer affordability using effective cost measurement techniques.
Utilize knowledge of models, simulations, test beds, prototypes, hardware integration, manufacturing, warfighter methodologies, and embedded test protocols. Drive improvements in product affordability through robust lifecycle testing. Opportunity to support advanced, mission-critical technologies onsite in Tucson.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with minimum two years directly related engineering experience (or STEM Master’s in lieu of experience)
- Systems Engineering experience in test requirements development, test planning, test techniques, test methodologies, test requirements documents
- Experience with embedded functional test, integration, verification, and validation for test
- Knowledge of models, simulations, test beds, prototypes, hardware integration, hardware manufacturing, warfighter methodologies, and embedded test protocols
- Intense focus on customer affordability using effective cost measurement techniques
- Past experience demonstrating a systems engineering approach for all test
- Secret clearance required (interim acceptable)
- U.S. Citizenship required
