About this role
K2 is building the largest and highest-power satellites ever flown, unlocking performance levels previously out of reach across every orbit. As a Build and Integration Engineer, you’ll support the build of several subsystems for the Gravitas mission, K2’s first flight of the Mega class satellite.
You’ll partner with Production to develop the build flow for your systems and help identify opportunities to increase build efficiency. Our ideal candidate juggles competing priorities and interacts positively with a wide array of people. Engineered to survive the harshest radiation environments, K2 satellites deliver unmatched capability at constellation scale across multiple orbits.
Work closely with engineers and technicians to disposition nonconformances and evaluate corrective actions. Support proto-qual testing and evaluate proposed designs for manufacturability and integration. Thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple launches planned through 2026 and 2027.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, aerospace, mechanical, computer, or other engineering discipline
- 2+ years of experience in an integration engineering role (includes internships and hardware-intensive extracurricular projects)
- Experience creating, improving, or deleting production process and workflows
- Experience interacting with CAD software and CAD models
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Expert multitasking skills with the ability to juggle priorities while maintaining focus to deliver against program goals
