SAS Flight Factory is seeking an exceptional Aerospace Assembly Technician to grow our elite team. You will ensure a quality product through robust assembly, test operations, and deburr tasks. Support aerospace customers' hardware needs with wiring assembly, mechanical assembly, and deburr skills.

This position reports directly to the Assembly/Deburr Supervisor in a hands-on, fast-paced, dynamic environment. Be part of a successful team that maintains an environment of trust, accountability, and teamwork. Effectively communicate with Management, Engineering, and Operators.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of applicable experience
  • Understanding of principles, concepts, and methods of harness assembly, mechanical assembly, deburr, and testing operations in an aerospace environment
  • Proficient in using standard inspection equipment - calipers, micrometers, pin gages, height gages
  • Ability to consistently execute assembly and deburr processes while maintaining 5S standards
  • Installation of hardware such as helicoils, rivets, bushings
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Maintains an environment of trust, accountability, and teamwork
  • Ability to effectively communicate with Management, Engineering, and Operators

Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality product through robust assembly, test operations, and deburr tasks
  • Perform wiring assembly and mechanical assembly
  • Execute deburr processes while maintaining 5S standards
  • Install hardware such as helicoils, rivets, bushings
  • Use standard inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, pin gages, height gages
