Synopsys

US · Full-time · $140,000 – $165,000

About this role

At Synopsys, we drive innovations that shape how we live and connect, central to the Era of Pervasive Intelligence. Our technology powers self-driving cars, learning machines, and high-performance silicon chips. In this role, you will solve complex engineering challenges for the Aerospace & Defense and Intelligence communities.

You will lead technical activities throughout the sales opportunity lifecycle, from discovery to demonstrations and post-sales support. Working closely with customers, you will analyze system-level requirements using Digital Mission Engineering tools like STK and ODTK, and articulate the value of integrated solutions.

Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams is key. You will partner with account teams, ACE teams, and customers to integrate high-fidelity models into system-level workflows. By translating customer feedback into new features, you will help shape product development and test releases on real-world problems.

This position offers the chance to engage with mission-critical government and defense projects. You will provide technical leadership, guide customers in optimizing their workflows, and support deployment of sophisticated software solutions in a fast-paced, timeline-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on Ansys product offerings to increase sales opportunities and customer adoption.
  • Work closely with customers to understand system-level engineering requirements, analyze solutions using Ansys DME products (STK, ODTK, etc.), and articulate the value proposition.
  • Develop and implement holistic system-level solutions by integrating technologies such as model-based systems engineering, digital mission engineering, and core physics analysis.
  • Collaborate with the Account team, ACE teams, and customers to integrate high-fidelity analytical models into system-level workflows.
  • Support product development by translating customer feedback into new features, assist in designing feature implementation requirements, and testing product releases on real-world problems.
  • Partner with account teams and customers to deploy sophisticated software solutions and support ongoing operations and new growth opportunities.

Benefits

  • Engage with government and defense clients on mission-critical projects that shape national security and technology frontiers.
  • Leverage cutting-edge simulation tools (STK, ODTK) and digital mission engineering in a leading technology company.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to product development that impacts real-world aerospace systems.
