Aerodynamics Engineer - Stability & Control Analyst
3w3 weeks agoBoeing
Hazelwood, US · Full-time · $112,200 – $151,800
About this role
Boeing is looking for an Aerodynamic Stability & Control Engineer to support BDS programs. The position encompasses a wide range of leadership and execution responsibilities. These include aerodynamic design, stability and control analysis, aerodynamic database development, air data systems development, wind tunnel testing, and flight testing.
Daily tasks involve wind tunnel test planning, execution, data analysis, and post-test documentation. Engineers develop aerodynamic databases from wind tunnel, CFD, and flight test data. They integrate these into 6-DOF simulation tools and model air data systems.
Additional duties include flight test planning, execution, data analysis, and Uncertainty Quantification of aerodynamic data. Integration occurs within a Digital Engineering architecture using analysis codes and models. The role supports fixed-wing tactical aircraft programs in a collaborative environment.
Successful candidates satisfy the Conflict of Interest assessment process. Boeing offers a Total Rewards package with competitive base pay and variable compensation. It maintains a Drug Free Workplace with required testing.
