The role focuses on building and scaling custom VS Code extensions that integrate Large Language Models into the Software Development Lifecycle. You will automate routine SDLC tasks, refine AI prompts for deterministic outputs, and ensure tool behaviors align with strict aerospace standards.

Requirements

Strong, hands-on experience using TypeScript, JavaScript, and Node.js with expertise in the VS Code Extension API.
Proven experience automating software development processes and building data pipelines using Python and VS Code Extension Development.
Demonstrated ability to engineer, test, and refine prompts for LLMs to achieve consistent, highly accurate results.
Understanding of DO-178C objectives concerning Development SDLC life cycle.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and scale custom VS Code extensions used by engineering teams.
Automate routine SDLC tasks and data parsing using Python.
Integrate LLM capabilities into development tools via REST APIs and web server applications.
Iteratively design, test, and fine-tune AI prompts to ensure deterministic, reliable outputs.
Ensure tool behaviors align with strict aerospace standards including DO-178C objectives.
