As a Mechanical and Aerospace Systems Engineer, shape sustainment and modification programs on a variety of aircraft systems. Identify and support items critical to aircraft mission availability. Improve lifecycle processes for aircraft systems and subsystems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information, resolve technical issues, and present to senior ranking officials. Troubleshoot and resolve issues for mechanical systems and components.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace engineering
- Experience with manufacturing processes and materials science
- Knowledge of standards and regulations such as MIL-STD or ASME
- Knowledge of DoD sustainment and acquisition processes
- Knowledge of DoD Technical Data Package (TDP) creation and DoD acquisition requirements generation
- Ability to review and understand technical drawings and identify critical characteristics
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues for mechanical systems and components
- Secret clearance
