Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM discipline with 14 years of experience or Master's degree with 12 years in design and integration of equipment.
  • Active In-Scope DoD Secret clearance with ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance.
  • Supplier Management Team (SMT) experience.
  • Experience working with diverse technical teams and leading others.
  • Knowledge of design, analysis and/or engineering tools development.
  • Proficient with Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and locating technical data from Computer Aided Design.

Responsibilities

  • Design, analyze, and test aircraft shapes to optimize performance, stability, and fuel efficiency while managing lift and drag forces.
  • Use specialized software to simulate air behavior around the aircraft to optimize drag reduction and lift.
  • Calculate and document aircraft performance metrics such as fuel efficiency and speed capability.
  • Plan, execute, and analyze tests on models and prototypes to validate CFD results.
  • Attend or present at internal program, customer, and supplier technical exchange meetings and formal program milestone reviews.
