About this role
As a systems engineer for Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3), you’ll be a member of a cross functional team. The team is responsible for Designing, Implementing and Deploying the next generation of Strategic Weapon Systems. Agile experience is preferred for this entry-level role.
You will apply Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), systems and test engineering, requirement management, and Agile Development practices. Hands-on experience with industry MBSE tools supports clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards. Requirements management and system modeling tools are key to daily tasks.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance required at time of hire
- U.S. citizenship required due to nature of work
- Clear understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and hands-on experience with industry MBSE tools
- Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
- Clear understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools
- Creative thinker with ability to grasp and apply new information quickly
- Team player who thrives in collaborative environments
