About this role

As a systems engineer for Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3), you’ll be a member of a cross functional team. The team is responsible for Designing, Implementing and Deploying the next generation of Strategic Weapon Systems. Agile experience is preferred for this entry-level role.

You will apply Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), systems and test engineering, requirement management, and Agile Development practices. Hands-on experience with industry MBSE tools supports clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards. Requirements management and system modeling tools are key to daily tasks.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field
Department of Defense Secret security clearance required at time of hire
U.S. citizenship required due to nature of work
Clear understanding of Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and hands-on experience with industry MBSE tools
Clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards
Clear understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools
Creative thinker with ability to grasp and apply new information quickly
Team player who thrives in collaborative environments

Responsibilities

Design next generation Strategic Weapon Systems as part of a cross functional team
