Clue Technologies is hiring a DO-178C Embedded C Software Engineer to develop software for critical and real-time systems in the aerospace industry. The role centers on safety-critical embedded development under RTCA DO-178B/C standards for avionics applications.
Engineers work on R&D projects in the aeronautical sector, programming microcontrollers and managing RTOS environments such as VxWorks or PikeOS. Daily tasks include integration and testing of real-time electronic systems while ensuring compliance with Design Assurance Level C requirements.
You will collaborate with software, hardware, and systems engineers plus internal and external partners to deliver reliable, cost-effective solutions. The environment supports schedule flexibility between office work in Málaga or Madrid and remote arrangements.

Requirements
- Degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in embedded software development under RTCA DO-178B/C standards.
- Proven experience developing safety-critical software targeting at least Design Assurance Level (DAL) C.
- Experience in programming microcontrollers.
- Experience in GPOS (embedded Linux) or RTOS (e.g.: VxWorks, PikeOS).
- Experience in programming with C language.
- Experience with IP networks, data buses, Operating Systems, and Real-Time Systems.
Responsibilities
- Work on R&D projects within the aeronautical sector related to software technologies.
- Develop reliable, cost-effective and high-quality solutions for Clue products as part of a team of software, hardware and systems engineers.
- Perform software development, RTOS management, integration and testing of real-time electronic systems.
- Program microcontrollers in C under RTCA DO-178B/C standards targeting DAL C or higher.
- Apply IP networks, data buses, operating systems and real-time systems knowledge to avionics solutions.
