This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle.

You will report to the GS1 Mid Module Director and directly support all aspects of project management including cost, schedule, procurement tracking, risk and opportunity, subcontractors, and change management. Use your project engineering skills to organize and update budgets, schedules, and program plans to ensure hardware delivery per program requirements. Leverage your technical background to communicate effectively with internal organizations and suppliers.

Build subsystems project management plans and manage project schedules, WBS, and cost while coordinating schedules to integrate subsystem development with overall vehicle programs. Present status, risks and opportunities, variances, and recovery plans to engineering and program management. Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as a self-starter comfortable in ambiguous situations.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Business, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Management
  • 10+ years’ experience in program management and business management in a development environment
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary development projects, including managing requirements, priorities, scope, schedule, and cost
  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience with critical path scheduling, IMP/IMS, risk management, requirements management
  • Experience with Project Management Tools such as MS Project, P6 Primavera or similar
  • Excellent written, communication and presentation skills
  • Aptitude for hands-on problem solving with passion for spacecraft systems
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as a self-starter in ambiguous situations
