Hazelwood, US · Full-time · $88,400 – $144,900

About this role

Boeing is looking for an Associate/Experienced Aerodynamics Engineer to support BDS Phantom Works projects. The position encompasses a wide range of leadership and execution responsibilities. These include aerodynamic design, conceptual aircraft design optimization, aero-performance analysis, aerodynamic database development, and wind tunnel testing.

Aerodynamics Engineers conduct aero-performance analysis of tactical aircraft configurations. They handle wind tunnel test planning, execution, data analysis, and post-test documentation. Additional duties involve aerodynamic database development from wind tunnel, CFD, and flight test data.

Professionals integrate aerodynamic databases into 6 degree-of-freedom (6-DOF) simulation tools. They perform flight test planning, execution, and data analysis. The role also includes Uncertainty Quantification (UQ) and integration of analysis codes within a Digital Engineering architecture.

This position supports advanced tactical aircraft programs in a dynamic Phantom Works environment. Engineers apply domain knowledge to fixed-wing aircraft and collaborate on complex projects. Opportunities exist for growth through Total Rewards packages and benefit programs.
