
About this role
We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Aerodynamic Engineer with strong expertise in Computational Fluid Dynamics to join our innovation-driven engineering team. The ideal candidate will apply CFD methodologies to solve complex aerodynamic challenges while playing a key role in developing internal tools and workflows.
Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting advanced aerodynamic analysis using industry-standard CFD software, developing automation scripts, and improving simulation accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. The engineer will also support the enhancement of internal CFD tools and workflows to streamline product development.
This role works closely with cross-functional teams including design, simulation, testing, and manufacturing to ensure aerodynamic performance is consistently optimized throughout the product lifecycle. The environment is fast-paced and collaborative, requiring independent problem-solving and attention to detail.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years in the automotive industry with a focus on CFD simulation and methods development
- Proven experience in developing or enhancing CFD workflows, automation scripts, or simulation tooling
- Strong proficiency in industry-standard CFD software (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, OpenFOAM)
- Programming skills in Python or similar languages for automation and data analysis
- Experience with HPC environments, job schedulers (e.g., SLURM), and cloud-based simulation platforms is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Apply CFD methodologies to solve complex aerodynamic challenges
- Play a key role in the development, enhancement, and support of internal CFD tools and workflows
- Combine advanced aerodynamic analysis with software development and tooling to improve simulation accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, simulation, testing, and manufacturing to optimize aerodynamic performance throughout the product lifecycle
- Develop and maintain automation scripts for CFD workflows using Python or similar languages
- Analyze simulation data to provide design recommendations for drag reduction and thermal management
- Collaborate with the design team to integrate aerodynamic considerations into vehicle styling and packaging
