Costa Mesa, US · Full-time · $146,000 – $194,000

About this role

Anduril Industries transforms U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology, powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system for realtime 3D command and control. The company brings cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking to the military rapidly. Senior Aerodynamics Engineers contribute to high-performance air vehicles in strategic competition.

The Air Dominance and Strike Aerodynamics Engineering Team handles advanced aerodynamic design and analysis for Group 5 air vehicles and missile platforms. Engineers own the full development lifecycle from conceptual design to flight test planning, execution, and analysis. This ensures resilient, scalable systems for complex, contested environments.

Daily work involves aerodynamic design at conceptual, preliminary, and detail maturities for unmanned air vehicles and missiles. Tasks include analysis with low and high order methods, stability and control, performance modeling, loads generation, and tool development. Wind tunnel and flight tests are planned, executed, and analyzed to validate performance.

Joining Anduril offers opportunities to defend the United States and allies through innovative defense technology. Engineers work on demanding projects requiring precision in transonic and supersonic regimes. The role supports rapid deployment of military systems with 21st-century innovation.
