The Software Implementation and Integration Department specializes in practical integration of AI, cloud-native services, and data platforms for seamless interoperability in complex enterprise environments. We employ modern integration patterns and automated deployment pipelines to bridge innovative solutions and mission-critical systems while ensuring security and performance.
This full-time position in El Segundo requires 100% onsite work. Junior engineers develop software for space, ground, and launch systems, collaborate across teams, and engage customers to leverage cutting-edge technologies for space challenges.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in STEM, with an emphasis in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field(s)
- 1 or more years of relevant experience (post Bachelors completed) in web application development, Spring Framework, Java, Python, RESTful services, or Cloud
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and team collaborative development using Atlassian tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, SourceTree, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability in coding and scripting with at least two different programming languages (e.g. Java, Python, C/C++)
- Experience using collaborative source code management (Git, Subversion), Agile Development, and DevSecOps

- Leverage software engineering skills to solve complex problems in various software systems domains
- Identify opportunities for adopting new technologies, such as AI, to solve existing needs and predict future challenges

- Collaborate with teams across the corporation to develop cross-domain space solutions
- Engage with customers to leverage the latest technology providing innovative solutions to their challenging problems in the space arena
- Learn and grow through new work opportunities, training, and mentorship from experienced staff
