As an Aerospace Stress Engineer, perform stress analysis and calculations for components, systems, and structures using Nastran/Patran software. Conduct static and fatigue analyses to assess structural integrity and durability. Generate detailed reports documenting methodologies and conclusions.
Daily tasks include meshing per client specifications, creating boundary conditions and loads in Nastran input files, and various model checks. Debug fatal errors and warnings in f06 files while ensuring model coherence. Handle postprocessing with specific client options and participate in design reviews.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of aircraft structure and aircraft loads
- Experienced in the static calculations for sizing and stress analysis of the aircraft structures by means of hand calculations, valid methods, numerical simulations (FEM)
- Understand legacy stress reports
- Experience in numerical modeling, post-processing, extraction & reporting of the results
- Very well-versed in stress dossier writing
- Knowledge of the post processing tool HyperMesh (HyperWorks package), CAD tool Catia V5, data base tools like MS Office, Excel & VBA macros
Responsibilities
- Perform stress analysis and calculations for aerospace components, systems, and structures using Nastran/Patran software
- Analyze and interpret stress results to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications
- Conduct static and fatigue analyses to assess the structural integrity and durability of aerospace components
- Generate detailed analysis reports and technical documentation to document methodologies and conclusions
- Mesh depending on Client Specifications (1D, 2D, 3D, mixed model, Skin Elements, Rigid Elements etc.)
- Create Boundary Conditions and Loads (mostly in Nastran Input file)
- Debug fatal errors and warnings in f06 and check the coherence of the model
- Postprocess using specific client options and participate in design reviews
