Berkeley, US · Full-time · $91,800 – $185,150

About this role

The Boeing Company is seeking Aerodynamics Engineers to join teams in Berkeley, Hazelwood, or Saint Charles, Missouri. The role supports Boeing Phantom Works or Air Dominance Programs through aerodynamic design, conceptual aircraft optimization, aero-performance analysis, database development, and wind tunnel testing. Positions are available at Associate, Experienced, and Lead levels.

Engineers conduct aero-performance analysis of tactical aircraft configurations and handle wind tunnel test planning, execution, data analysis, and documentation. They develop aerodynamic databases from wind tunnel, CFD, and flight test data, then integrate them into 6-DOF simulation tools. Flight test planning, execution, and analysis are key daily activities.

Perform Uncertainty Quantification and analysis of aerodynamic data from wind tunnel, flight test, CFD, and empirical codes. Integrate analysis codes and models within a Digital Engineering architecture. The position is 100% onsite with potential domestic or international travel based on business needs.
