Manufacturing Engineers keep the hardworking engine fleet flying by driving efficiency, developing repairs to maximise engine life, reduce costs and expedite engines through the factory. They ensure processes comply with HS&E standards, drive zero defects and focus on delivery within operational requirements.
Work within a dynamic assembly facility, collaborating closely with physical product and an agile, cross-functional team. Capture, analyse and use data to improve manufacturing processes and digital systems, sharing best practices through Communities of Practice.

Requirements
- Professionally Qualified Engineer (e.g. UK minimum HND/foundation degree or other national equivalent)
- Recognised national or international engineering accreditation (e.g. UK IEng or CEng) where available
- General understanding of assembly and manufacturing processes relevant to the business
- General awareness of Manufacturing Systems and enabling software tools relevant to the business
- Understanding of Manufacturing Engineering processes relevant to the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with HS&E standards and deliver design intent; rigorously raise, investigate and resolve safety issues
- Drive a culture of zero defects; work with functions to reduce risk and achieve product Right First Time
- Adopt delivery-focused mindset; ensure processes and digital systems support facility operations and resolve issues to meet timescales
- Develop, implement, validate, maintain and continuously improve manufacturing processes and digital systems
- Capture, analyse and use data to demonstrate and enhance current and future process capability
- Identify, document and share best practice, including participation in relevant Communities of Practice
- Ensure compliance to company, legislative and technical policies and standards
