About this role
Boeing Brazil is seeking a Mid-Career Airplane Systems Integration Engineer (TPIM) for the São José dos Campos office. This role joins the 777X team as a Systems Engineer supporting the Technical Program Integration Manager (TPIM) team. The position focuses on systems integration for airplane certification processes.
Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing verification artifacts for DAR entrance criteria while assisting aircraft system teams with verification activities. Consolidate guidance, templates, and lessons learned to ensure consistent DA processes across teams. Attend meetings to capture decisions and distribute process change communications.
Work in a hybrid environment requiring some onsite presence at the listed location, at the hiring team’s discretion. Support the 777X program milestones and product certification goals through prioritized activities. Collaborate with system teams on integration and assurance tasks.
Engage in mentoring and training to enhance team competency in DA processes, requirements development, verification strategies, and risk management. Gain exposure to regulatory requirements and system integration in aerospace. Contribute to program-level process improvements and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Existing rights to work in Brazil
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (CREA)
- Experience in any airplane systems
- Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language
- Familiarity with product assurance, certification/regulatory requirements and system integration process
- Experience using requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS), and configuration management systems
- Desired knowledge in SAE ARP 4754 and ARP 4761
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and help produce verification artifacts and evidence required for DAR entrance criteria
- Assist aircraft system teams in completing verification activities that pace program milestones
- Consolidate guidance, standard templates, and lessons learned for airplane system DAR focals
- Attend relevant meetings, events, and process discussions to capture decisions and document agreements
- Ensure communications related to process changes are issued and distributed
- Support mentoring and training activities to improve team competency in DA processes, requirements development, verification strategies, and risk management
- Support and evaluate activity priorities to support program goal for product certification
