About this role
Step into the backbone of our organization—where your decisions keep the lights on, the data flowing, and the business moving. As Senior IT Systems Engineer, you're the architect of an environment that hundreds of people depend on every day. You'll own mission-critical systems and drive complex projects from whiteboard to production.
Every server you harden, every cloud migration you lead, and every automation script you ship makes the entire organization faster, safer, and more resilient. You'll set the technical direction for how we scale in a high-trust, high-impact role. This position thrives on solving hard problems when everything else is on fire.
K2 is building the largest and highest-power satellites ever flown, backed by $450M from leading investors and $500M in signed contracts. We're mass-producing platforms for missions from LEO to deep space in a fast-paced Series C space startup. Multiple launches are planned through 2026 and 2027.
Join a motivated team excited about Building Bigger to develop the solar system and become a Kardashev Type II civilization. Raise the bar for the team around you and build infrastructure that just works. Contribute to the success of a groundbreaking space startup.
