About this role
Join the Ansys Customer Excellence team to support customers on all aspects of their real-world engineering simulation projects and integration of Ansys software in their design workflows. As an engineer on the Digital Mission Engineering team, use engineering knowledge to provide technical post-sales support and solutions to technical challenges. Channel customer feedback to internal leadership to improve Ansys products like STK, ODTK, TETK.
Deploy the full Ansys Technical Support Toolset combined with engineering expertise to help customers solve problems and enable Ansys product usage. Ensure high customer satisfaction and success in software deployment and adoption. Develop subject matter expertise on simulation products and applications.
Work as part of a positive, dynamic team of engineers based in Exton, PA, constantly striving to deliver the highest quality solutions. This in-person role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship. Participate in strategic team initiatives as needed.
Submit suggestions for product improvements, file defect reports, and verify fixes. Support sales and marketing with demonstrations, webinars, and training. Gain countless opportunities to advance knowledge and deepen experience across engineering disciplines.
Requirements
- BS in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
- BS + 2 years or MS + 0 years of professional experience in an engineering software environment
- Demonstrated use of relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages
- Coursework or work experience in aerospace simulation and mission engineering
- Familiarity with digital mission engineering tools and aerospace systems analysis
- Ability to provide technical support for satellite systems, orbit determination, and test evaluation
Responsibilities
- Deploy and exploit the full Ansys Technical Support Toolset to assist customers in solving engineering problems and enabling usage of Ansys products
- Ensure high Customer Satisfaction and Customer Success to enable customers' usage, deployment, and adoption of Ansys software
- Develop subject matter expertise and specialization on Ansys simulation products including STK, ODTK, TETK, and DME Components
- Submit suggestions for product improvement, file defect reports, verify fixes, and participate in field testing of new releases
- Support Sales and Marketing by conducting demonstrations, webinars, online training, and providing expertise-level support
- Participate in other strategic team and company initiatives as needed
