Lead technical project delivery, guide engineering teams, and ensure systems engineering principles apply effectively throughout the full lifecycle. Welcome experienced engineers or those ready to step up into technical lead positions. Play a central part in high-impact aerospace work.

Operate from state-of-the-art facilities across the UK focused on defence, security, and technology innovation. Conduct research, testing, and development for military and civilian applications advancing national security. Travel to other QinetiQ and customer sites expected.

Requirements

Strong background in air platforms and the air vehicle lifecycle
Experience applying systems engineering approaches such as DOORS, MBSE, V&V
Understanding of aerospace certification, governance and regulation
Ability to provide sound technical judgement on integrated engineering issues
Experience leading or contributing to engineering work packages
Knowledge of military and civil aerospace environments such as MOD customer and MOD Procurement process (highly desirable)
