Join our team as a Senior Systems Engineer exhibiting expert-level skills in requirements engineering, systems integration, Verification & Validation (V&V), and Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
You will oversee and lead complex system and decision analysis, technical planning, and risk management activities. Responsibilities include managing major project deliverables using deep knowledge in architecture/design development, technical monitoring, and lifecycle management. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are vital to influence project direction.
The ISR, Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area leads in ISR and aviation as a prime integrator for manned and unmanned aircraft systems. It provides end-to-end C4ISR capabilities including design, integration, test, certification, training, and logistics support. IAS tailors solutions to exceed customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements with on-time deliveries.
Mentor team members and ensure alignment with organizational goals in multi-disciplinary design teams. Leverage expertise to guide systems engineering practices and foster innovation in aerospace and defense. Advance complex projects through proven leadership and technical proficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field
- Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience
- Expert proficiency with Systems modeling and simulation tools
- Proven leadership experience in systems engineering
- Demonstrated knowledge of multiple Engineering principles and practices
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- Thorough understanding of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation; systems design, systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and V&V principles
