This role involves handling Manufacturing/Process Engineer tasks necessary to perform the Control Plan. Become the expert on how the aircraft works, designing mission operational concepts with requirements analysis and data flows. Define FDIR strategy and support satellite test teams.

Serve as key interface between disciplines, customer, project management, and technical lead. Participate as part of the Control Plan Multi-Functional Team (MFT). Co-engineer with other discipline architects on mission lifecycle activities.

Activities cover the entire lifecycle from R&D and proposals to launch and in-orbit commissioning. Progress to utilizing team leading skills on larger projects with task organization and schedule definition. Receive mentorship to advance your career.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of PFMEA for aerospace manufacturing processes
  • Experience developing and implementing Control Plans
  • Familiarity with manufacturing risk analysis and mitigation strategies
  • Ability to analyze process failure modes and effects
  • Understanding of aerospace quality standards and compliance
  • Skills in supporting multi-functional teams for process improvement
  • Proficiency in operational requirements analysis and data flows

Responsibilities

  • Get involved in all aspects of how the Aircraft works, from initial design to in-orbit support
  • Ensure the mission operates as specified by the customer as key interface between disciplines and to the customer
  • Define how the mission works in all nominal and failure scenarios
  • Design the mission operational concept, including requirements analysis, timeline definition, data flows
  • Write the Aircraft User Manual, including developing and testing the Flight Operational Procedures
  • Define the FDIR strategy and implementation, including inputs to the satellite database and support to satellite test teams
  • Handle the Manufacturing/Process Engineer tasks necessary to perform the Control Plan
  • Be part of the Control Plan Multi-Functional Team (MFT)
