About this role

ArianeGroup in Lampoldshausen seeks an Industrial Leader / Production Engineer for the Engine & Fluidic Equipment department immediately. The team handles assembly, tests, and instrumentation of engines and propulsion equipment. Main focus is supporting the VINCI engine AIT on all quality inspection themes per performance requirements for quality, throughput, and costs.

Conduct the industrialization process supported by defined milestones and deliverables. Collaborate closely with the Technical Leader on assembly, integration, and test activities. Ensure these activities achieve product and process conformity in production.

Lead the build-up of the production system including factory layout, workstations, tools, and processes. Take responsibility for its design, acceptance, and industrial performance under QCDRS metrics. Secure technical configuration of the engine per quality and robustness goals.

Act as Production Process Engineer within the AIT team, working with departments to adopt, modify, and create documents and processes. Prepare manufacturing operations for engine production. Join international teams shaping Europe's space future with practical aerospace experience.

Requirements

Expertise in quality inspections for rocket engines like VINCI
Knowledge of assembly, integration, and test (AIT) processes for propulsion systems
Experience with production industrialization milestones and deliverables
Familiarity with QCDRS performance indicators in aerospace manufacturing
Skills in designing production systems for engine assembly including tools and workstations
Understanding of technical configuration requirements for quality and robustness goals
Proficiency in production process engineering for fluidic equipment

Responsibilities

Conduct the industrialization process supported by defined industrialization milestones and intermediate/final deliverables
Collaborate closely with the Technical Leader
Ensure assembly, integration, and test activities function for product/process conformity
Lead the build-up of the production system (factory, workstations, tools, processes) and responsibility for its design and acceptance
Manage industrial performance of the production system (QCDRS) and associated acceptance/release, especially engine technical configuration per Q and R goals
Serve as Production Process Engineer in the AIT team with close collaboration on documents and processes from other departments
Prepare manufacturing processes for VINCI engine AIT
