This is an onsite position leveraging strong technical background and knowledge. Support the Direct and Time Sensitive Strike Program Office with critical engineering expertise.

Provide expertise for the acquisition, development, and sustainment of weapons systems. Primary focus on supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases for the AARGM-ER and APKWS programs. Lead execution of complex engineering tasks for these advanced systems.

Requirements

  • Secret security clearance required
  • Strong technical background and knowledge in systems engineering
  • Experience supporting DoD program offices such as Direct and Time Sensitive Strike
  • Knowledge of military weapons systems acquisition, development, and sustainment
  • Familiarity with AARGM-ER and APKWS programs
  • Proficiency in engineering principles for weapons systems analysis and testing
  • Skills in systems engineering methods, tools, integration, and configuration management
  • Ability to prepare technical analyses, reports, and change proposals

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of complex engineering tasks and provide support for the development of the Advanced Anti-Radiation Guided Missile – Extended Range (AARGM-ER) and APKWS
  • Apply engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, design, develop, and test military weapons systems
  • Review and prepare technical analyses, reports, and change proposals for advanced weapons programs
  • Utilize systems engineering methods and tools for system integration, configuration management, and quality assurance testing
  • Analyze and evaluate software and components related to the functional requirements of military weapons systems and associated support systems
  • Perform programmatic and technical leadership roles to identify issues in weapons programs
  • Support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases for AARGM-ER and APKWS programs
