We are recruiting a Senior CFD Engineer focused on simulating airflow around aircraft designs and engines to optimize performance, handling, and safety. Use CFD software to analyze aerodynamic behavior and generate models for aircraft and engine development.

As a CFD Engineer, work with 3D CAD models like 3DX, CATIA, or SolidWorks to prepare geometries for simulations. Prepare CFD meshes using Fluent Meshing, ICEM CFD, ANSA, or CADfix. Run simulations with TAU, CODA, Ansys Fluent, OpenFOAM, or STAR-CCM+ to analyze aerodynamic performance.

Post-process CFD solutions using python scripts, Tecplot, or Paraview, and create aerodynamic models from CFD and experimental data like wind tunnel or flight tests. Requirements

Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with a specialization in aerodynamics
Proficiency in CFD software, meshing techniques, and turbulence modelling
Strong understanding of aerodynamic principles, flight mechanics, and aircraft performance
Ability to analyse, interpret, and present CFD results effectively
Expertise in data analysis and strong understanding of aerodynamics and flight dynamics

Responsibilities

Work with 3D CAD models (e.g., 3DX, CATIA, SolidWorks) to prepare geometries for CFD simulations
Prepare CFD meshes (e.g., Fluent Meshing, ICEM CFD, ANSA or CADfix)
Use CFD software TAU and CODA (also Ansys Fluent, OpenFOAM, STAR-CCM+) to simulate airflow and analyse aerodynamic performance
