About this role

ArianeGroup GmbH in Lampoldshausen seeks an Industrial Leader / Production Engineer for the Engine & Fluidic Equipment department immediately. The team manages assembly, tests, and instrumentation of engines and fluid control equipment. Main task as Vinci quality technician is to oversee the VINCI engine AIT for all quality inspection topics per performance requirements on quality, throughput, and costs.

Conduct the industrialization process supported by defined milestones and deliverables. Collaborate closely with the Technical Leader. Ensure assembly, integration, and test activities achieve product and process conformity.

Lead setup of production system including factory, workstations, tools, and processes with responsibility for design and acceptance. Manage industrial performance via QCDRS metrics and release, focusing on technical configuration per quality and robustness goals. Serve as production process engineer in AIT team with close departmental collaboration on documents and processes.

Requirements

Expertise in AIT processes for engines and propulsion equipment
Knowledge of quality inspection requirements in rocket engine production
Familiarity with industrialization milestones and deliverables in aerospace manufacturing
Understanding of QCDRS performance metrics (quality, cost, delivery, reliability, safety)
Experience ensuring product and process conformity in assembly and testing
Proficiency in production system design and acceptance for fluidic equipment

Responsibilities

Conduct the industrialization process supported by defined industrialization milestones and deliverables
Collaborate closely with the Technical Leader
Ensure assembly, integration, and test activities function for product and process conformity
Lead the build-up of the production system (factory, workstations, tools, processes) and take responsibility for its design and acceptance
Manage industrial performance of the production system (QCDRS) and associated acceptance/release, ensuring technical configuration per quality and robustness goals
Act as production process engineer in the AIT team, collaborating closely with departments to adopt, modify, and create documents and processes
Oversee the VINCI engine for all quality inspection topics during AIT
