Define project strategies including content, scope, resources, deadlines, costs, risks, quality management, communications, and training. Manage all phases from feasibility study to production start-up.

Manage budgets, schedules, client expectations, change requests, and develop risk mitigation plans. Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement of project management processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Automated Production Engineering or Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes in the aeronautical industry (Asset)
  • Assets in human resources management within the framework of matrix project management
  • PMI certification (asset)
  • Good analytical mind
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a great sense of organization
  • Fluent in English and French both written and spoken

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and propose cutting-edge technological acquisition opportunities for the machining, sheet metal, composite, and assembly sectors
  • Define the strategy for carrying out projects: content, scope, resources, deadlines, costs, risks, quality management, communications, and training
  • Manage the activities of development project phases: feasibility study, project mandate and business plan, acquisition, implementation and production start-up
  • Manage the budget, schedule, and resources in all phases and prepare progress reports to management
  • Align the work of resources involved and act as the interface between different matrix services
  • Manage client expectations and change requests within projects
  • Develop risk management and mitigation plans
  • Participate in problem solving, recovery plans, and continuous improvement of project management processes
