Swindon, GB · Full-time · £40,000 – £55,000
About this role
iCOMAT is an advanced manufacturing company that invented Rapid Tow Shearing (RTS), the only proven technology for defect-free curved-fiber composite parts at industrial scale. It delivers the lightest structures for aerospace, automotive, defense, and space. The company builds automated factories serving Tier 1 suppliers and OEMs.
You will be the technical engine of the Swindon CNC shop, leading manufacturing engineering from enquiry to credible quote and production-ready package. This hands-on role turns drawings into reality alongside the wider Manufacturing Engineering team. You report into site leadership at a high-impact facility.
The business operates 130,000 sqm of production capacity across UK, US, and Greece facilities. It features Hardware R&D in Bristol and Software R&D in Athens. With 25+ customers, it completed the largest Series A in composites manufacturing.
Growth plans will multiply the business size over two to three years, expanding into UK, Europe, and US. The Swindon site is on track for £1m+ revenue this year and scaling from there. Join to drive technical leadership in a rapidly expanding operation.
