The Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer Manager leads first shift assembly, integration, and test flows for space hardware builds. This role manages engineering and manufacturing teams to offload, health check, and propellant load satellites.

A day involves collaborating with engineering, quality, and manufacturing to offload, test satellites, and load propellant. Oversee assembly, integration, and test workstations, address root causes of failures, and implement production control strategies. Deliver space hardware value stream using safe, repeatable engineering best practices.

Work in a fast-paced, data-driven team with leaders across technology areas to deliver optimal products. Hold to relentlessly high standards while seeking improvements in performance, quality, and cost. Embrace technical challenges that motivate rather than discourage.

As technical leader, provide guidance on testing requirements, workcell design, facility planning, process control, and tooling. Set team objectives, implement long-term strategies, and lead by example. Extensive experience required in space hardware integration and test, especially satellite to dispenser or launch vehicle.
