About this role

We are seeking an Aerospace Structural Engineer/Analyst who will provide engineering support for rotary wing aircraft by analyzing flight characteristics, flight controls, and dynamic components. This position is contingent upon contract award. You will support system design activities, vibration testing, and flight testing to verify aircraft performance and handling qualities.

Analyze rotary wing flight characteristics, control systems, and dynamic components. Develop and evaluate environmental vibration qualification requirements, test plans, and reports. Review and interpret vibration and flight test data to verify system performance and handling qualities.

Requirements

  • BS or BA degree
  • 3 years of related experience
  • Experience with rotary wing systems, vibration analysis, and flight test data review.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting DoD acquisition and engineering programs (military rotary wing or fixed wing platform experience is highly preferred).
  • Must have an in-scope DoD Secret security clearance
  • Experience in structural analysis and dynamic modeling of aircraft structures.
  • Familiarity with military aviation standards and qualification processes.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze rotary wing flight characteristics, control systems, and dynamic components.
  • Develop and evaluate environmental vibration qualification requirements, test plans, and reports.
  • Review and interpret vibration and flight test data to verify system performance and handling qualities.
  • Ensure aircraft capabilities are accurately reflected in Operator’s Manuals for normal and emergency operations.
  • Support system design activities for rotary wing aircraft.
  • Ensure technical findings are accurately documented and aligned with qualification and program requirements.
