About this role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in aerospace manufacturing. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in optimizing production processes, implementing advanced manufacturing technologies, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This role involves leading engineering projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality. Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve workflow, while developing process documentation such as work instructions, SOPs, and process flow diagrams. Identify and evaluate new technologies to improve production capabilities.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, production, and quality assurance to achieve project objectives. Lead the integration of advanced techniques like additive manufacturing, automation, and precision machining. Ensure new technologies align with production goals and quality standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and enhance product quality. Conduct root cause analysis, process audits, and develop training programs for the manufacturing team. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies for timely delivery.
