Seeking an experienced Gas Turbine Engineer to support global energy-sector customers through Continued Operational Safety (COS) and technical support initiatives.

This role leads field investigations, analyzes component conditions, and delivers actionable technical findings to stakeholders. Serve as primary technical contact for customers after hardware or engine delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams for issue resolution. Provide on-site or remote support, including travel for inspections and assessments.

Collaborate across engineering, quality, operations, supply chain, and commercial teams to diagnose problems and drive corrective actions. Monitor in-service performance of parts, repairs, coatings, and solutions to identify reliability enhancements. Requirements

  • Extensive knowledge in gas turbine design and manufacturing
  • Hands-on experience working for an owner/operator of gas turbines
  • Skilled in leading field investigations and analyzing component conditions
  • Ability to deliver actionable technical findings to stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Experience in root cause analysis (RCA) and failure investigations for gas turbines
  • Proficiency coordinating cross-functional teams in engineering, quality, operations, and supply chain
  • Capability to monitor in-service performance and identify reliability enhancements for turbine components

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical contact for customers after hardware or engine delivery
  • Lead customer issue investigations by coordinating with cross-functional internal teams including engineering, quality, manufacturing, and field service
  • Support root cause analysis (RCA) and failure investigations with accurate diagnosis and customer communication
  • Provide on-site or remote customer support including travel to facilities for inspections and technical assessments
  • Support Chromalloy's Continued Operational Safety (COS) initiative for ongoing safety and operational integrity
  • Monitor in-service performance of Chromalloy parts, repairs, coatings, and engineered solutions
  • Analyze engineering data and develop technical reports on engine and component condition assessments and trend analysis
  • Create and deliver technical presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders
