About this role

This role supports New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit and beyond.
Lead technical teams to execute scope for USG customers, applying expertise in payload integration and launch. Manage customer-facing projects from proposal through completion, including risk mitigation efforts. Ensure successful integration of customer payloads on New Glenn while maintaining satisfaction.
Join a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts focused on mission management. Work closely with technical engineering and launch site operations to meet requirements. Passion for our mission and vision is required to impact USG relationships.
Support business development for new and existing customers leading to follow-on services. Commitment to quality enables routine launches of human-capable vehicles. Applications accepted on an ongoing basis until requisition closes.
Requirements
- B.S. in engineering field
- 8+ years managing complex, multi-disciplinary, fast-paced programs/projects
- 5+ years industry experience with launch systems or satellite operations
- Ability to travel within U.S. and abroad
- Top Secret clearance with current SSBI & SCI eligibility
- Experience with space vehicle to launch vehicle integration
- Experience working with government customers
Responsibilities
- Lead customer-facing technical projects, including risk mitigation efforts, to integrate customer payloads on New Glenn from proposal through completion
- Manage project resources, schedules, and budgets to achieve Blue Origin business goals while maintaining customer satisfaction
- Work closely with technical engineering and launch site operations to ensure successful integration and execution of customer requirements
- Support business development opportunities for new and existing customers leading to new or follow-on services
- Lead technical teams to execute scope for USG customers
- Apply technical expertise to positively impact relationships with USG customers
- Enable integration and launch of customer payloads

- Compensation for CA/WA applicants: $140,959.00-$197,342.25; CO: $129,611.00-$181,454.70
