Provide technical support to operations and execute Manufacturing Engineering activities to develop, maintain, and improve processes meeting safety, quality, cost, delivery, and leadtime requirements. Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental Standards and the Zero Harm programme. Drive product safety by achieving design definition and resolving issues rigorously.
Drive a zero defects culture, reducing risks for Right First Time while complying with RRMS, SABRe, Export Control, and Intellectual Property standards. Act as Technical Authority with process controls, serving as MEA or PCA signatory where applicable. Collaborate with teams, experts, partners, and suppliers to share knowledge and best practices.
Identify opportunities for new manufacturing processes, digital systems, and technologies. Plan activities managing schedule, resources, and costs while resolving risks. Develop capability by validating processes, analyzing data, and coaching others to expand competencies.
Requirements
- Expertise in manufacturing processes for aerospace jet engines
- Knowledge of HSE standards and Zero Harm principles
- Proficiency in product safety protocols and design conformance
- Experience with quality systems including RRMS and SABRe
- Ability to apply process controls and act as technical signatory
- Skills in data analysis for process capability improvement
- Familiarity with digital manufacturing systems and technologies
- Competence in cross-functional collaboration and lessons learned capture
Responsibilities

- Ensure manufacturing processes comply with Health, Safety & Environmental Standards and meet Zero Harm programme expectations
- Ensure manufacturing processes achieve design definition and conform to specifications, investigating and resolving safety issues
- Drive zero defects culture, reduce risks, and ensure compliance with RRMS, SABRe, Export Control and Intellectual Property requirements
- Apply manufacturing process controls as Technical Authority, acting as MEA or PCA signatory where applicable
- Identify and develop opportunities for improved manufacturing processes, digital systems and technologies
- Plan and manage activities including schedule, resources and costs, resolving issues to meet timescales
- Develop, validate and improve manufacturing processes using data analysis to demonstrate capability
