Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Quality Manager for Airframe Engineering (permanent position) to join our Quality Engineering Department based in Toulouse area, France. Join our dynamic Quality Engineering team, where you will be at the heart of engineering and product development. Drive continuous improvement for Aerostructure Engineering organisation and for our aircraft.
Coach the business by spreading quality mindset and preventing non quality. As First Implementation Check (FIC) focal point for Fuselage Structure NFF/NCF organisation, ensure deployment and coordination of FIC on aircraft for all programmes at FAL and Airbus Atlantic. Report FIC deployment progress and issues to the relevant programme focal point.

Requirements
- Master degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (preferred)
- Good knowledge of quality standards (Design Review, DFMEA, Root Cause Analysis, V&V)
- Acumen for data analysis
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced level of English and French
- Experience in design process/development or project management (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Coach the business by spreading quality mindset and preventing non quality
- As First Implementation Check (FIC) focal point for Fuselage Structure NFF/NCF organisation, ensure deployment and coordination of FIC on aircraft for all programmes at FAL and Airbus Atlantic
- Report FIC deployment progress and issues to the relevant programme focal point
- Apply Practical Problem Solving (PPS) techniques for eradicating root causes of significant or recurrent concerns
- In collaboration with engineering, support or facilitate Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA) or Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) to ensure right first time designs
- Raise alert and ensure corrective actions are defined when critical deviation is detected
- Take part in internal or supplier audits when necessary
- Learn continuously by being connected to the Q community and share good practices
