Quality Manager - Airframe Engineering

About this role

Requirements

• Master degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (preferred)
• Good knowledge of quality standards (Design Review, DFMEA, Root Cause Analysis, V&V)
• Acumen for data analysis
• Excellent communication skills
• Advanced level of English and French
• Experience in design process/development or project management (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Coach the business by spreading quality mindset and preventing non quality
• As First Implementation Check (FIC) focal point for Fuselage Structure NFF/NCF organisation, ensure deployment and coordination of FIC on aircraft for all programmes at FAL and Airbus Atlantic
• Report FIC deployment progress and issues to the relevant programme focal point
• Apply Practical Problem Solving (PPS) techniques for eradicating root causes of significant or recurrent concerns
• In collaboration with engineering, support or facilitate Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA) or Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) to ensure right first time designs
• Raise alert and ensure corrective actions are defined when critical deviation is detected
• Take part in internal or supplier audits when necessary
• Learn continuously by being connected to the Q community and share good practices
